Ingredients

  • 100 g pizza / gratin mozzarella
  • 70 g flour
  • 50 g butter
  • 300 g milk
  • 1 egg
  • 200 g breadcrumbs
  • 2 carrots
  • 0.5 piece celeriac
  • Oil for frying
  • Salt, pepper and paprika

How it’s done

Children will love them! Crisp on the outside, soft on the inside.

Cut the carrots and celeriac into small cubes. Heat the butter in a pan; stir in the flour, then add the milk and mix well. Add the carrots, celeriac and cheese. Season with salt, pepper and paprika to taste. Use two spoons to form the mixture into cylinders. Place on baking paper and leave in the freezer for about three hours. Heat the oil. Coat the croquettes in flour, egg and breadcrumbs and then fry.
