Mexican-style grill cheese burgers

Ingredients

  • 4 Züger barbecue grill cheese burgers
  • 2 small avocados
  • A little fresh lemon juice
  • 1 large red onion
  • 4 tbsp mayonnaise
  • ½ tsp grated lemon zest from 1 organic lemon
  • A little ground pepper
  • 80 g pickled jalapeños
  • 100 g iceberg lettuce
  • 4 burger buns
  • 50 g Züger premium butter
  • Salt

How it’s done

Pre-heat the oven to 160°C.

Halve the avocados and cut them into thin slices. Marinade the slices in the lemon juice and season with a little salt. Peel the onions and cut them into thin strips. Mix the mayonnaise with the lemon zest and the pepper. Cut the burger buns in half and butter them. Place them butter-side up on a baking tray and put them in the oven for four minutes. While they are in the oven, fry the grill cheese burgers in a pan on both sides. Arrange the iceberg lettuce on the bottom halves of the buns. Place a grilling-cheese burger on top of each and add some sliced avocado, onion and jalapeños. Drizzle with the mayonnaise and add the top halves of the buns.
