Zucchini rolls with cream cheese

Zucchini rolls are a real eye-catcher at any aperitif. Filona's cream cheese filled zucchini rolls are not only quick to prepare, but also a real treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 1 bunch of chives
  • 500 g Filona cream cheese herbs
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 zucchetti of medium size
  • Salt
  • Black pepper

How it’s done

Wash and finely chop the herbs. Put them in a bowl with the Filona cream cheese herbs. Mix everything carefully and season the cream cheese mixture with salt as well as pepper.

Remove the stem end of the zucchetti and cut lengthwise into thin slices (about 4 mm). Heat olive oil in frying pan. Fry the zucchetti slices on both sides for about 2 minutes each. Alternatively: Bake the zucchetti in the oven at 180 degrees for 15 minutes.

Spread a little of the cream cheese mixture on each of the zucchetti slices and roll them up carefully. Place on a plate with the seam side down.
