Christof Züger was elected to the board of the industry organisation BO Milch at its assembly of delegates on 23 April in Bern.

Two seats on the board became available when Migros left BO Milch at the end of 2017. Christof Züger, CEO of Züger Frischkäse, was elected to one of them by the assembly of delegates. The other remains temporarily vacant.

Urs Hänni from Aldi Suisse, Marc Benoît, President of Prolait, Vincent Maudonnet, President of Nestlé's direct suppliers, and Fritz Stettler, Vice-President of the Thurgau Milk Producers’ Association, were also elected to the board as substitutes.

Züger Frischkäse AG (Oberbüren) and Molkerei Forster AG (Herisau) are increasing their support for sustainable milk production. From March onwards, they will pay a bonus to milk producers who champion regional production and animal welfare.

More than 1,000 people took part in the draw to win a week's lactose-free holiday in Hotel Altana in Scuol, Grisons.

A week’s holiday in Switzerland’s first gluten- and lactose-free holiday region was raffled off among participants. The lucky winner, Ms Braun from Mayen, Germany, can look forward to a carefree break in Hotel Altana  in Scuol, which is personally run by the Lehmann family.

Twenty-five years ago – laying the foundations for success.

15 August 1992 was a significant day for the family business Züger Frischkäse AG. With the move to commercial premises at Industrie Haslen 9a in Oberbüren, it laid the foundations for today’s Züger Frischkäse AG, as company founder Edwin Züger took the first steps towards creating the Oberbüren production site. This move towards industrialisation and professionalisation drove the company's market success, and it is now the fifth largest milk processor in Switzerland.
